Governor Perdue will visit the State Veterans Home at 214 Cochran Avenue at 11:15 a.m., according to her office.

Veterans Day Parade, Fayetteville, NC,Honoring past, present, and future Veterans! Starting at 11:00 a.m., the parade will start by Freedom Memorial Park at the intersection of Hay Street and Bragg Blvd. (directly in front of the Airborne & Special Operations Museum), and will continue down Hay Street to Robeson Street.

Chili’s: Receive a free entree on Veteran’s Day with proof of military service for veterans and active duty military. Free entrée is from a select menu.

Cold Stone Creamery: Free Like It size creation for veterans on Thursday, 11/11 at stores in the Triangle.
T.G.I. Friday’s: Purchase one entree and your veteran's entree is FREE from November 11 - November 14. Must print and bring in coupon. Must wear uniform or present valid military or veteran’s ID. In addition, each veteran will get a $5 bonus bites card to use on his/her next visit.

Chick-fil-A of Garner: Offering ALL Military Personnel (active & retired) a FREE meal from select menu choices from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 11. They ask that you please show your ID to receive your free offer.
In addition, all customers making purchases between these hours (11-1) will receive a breakfast coupon which can be used on a return visit.

Hooters: Hooter’s is serving up a free meal to military veterans all day on Veterans Day. Choose one of the new specialty items on the Hooter’s menu. Offer valid at participating Hooters to all active duty and military veterans with valid military ID or proof of military service. Drink purchase required.

Mimi’s Café: Free entrée up to a $10 value with any $20 check on 11/11/10. Must print coupon and present to server along with military ID.

Golden Corral: Offering active duty and retired military personnel a free dinner and drink from 5 to 9 p.m. on November 15.

U.S. National Parks: Free for anyone on Veterans Day
