I'm a Happy Mama this morning.

I got all three of my kids to eat vegetables and fruit (fruit isn't the issue) but vegetables! Yesterday we tried this new snack, and let me tell you it was a good time to try it, as we were on the go yesterday in the car most of the weekend.

Happy Family is becoming more involved with Military families. Happy Family now has products in 90 Commissaries throughout the United States. They have been looking for Military bloggers throughout the US to do reviews and giveaways of their product lines. I am always eager to BRING new and healthy snacks into our family because I do believe that we need to start eating healthy, living a more green and sustainable life. Especially with all the health issues and environmental issues that is now happening. I am super happy to be trying this product, and organic. I really didn't look at the issues of what's in our food until my son was born and he is allergic to most products, and then my oldest developed some health issues. So now I do believe that yes we need to control what we eat as much as control what products are fed to animals that we eat, as well as what pesticides and fertlizer is used on our produce.

I do belive that we aren't eating as healthy as we could.  I will be doing a giveaway on my blog of the snack pouches (pictured below) my son is holding. I was really interested in this product because of the easiness and ready available, handy to carry in my backpack. As you can see from the picture up top there are three flavors I reviewed, since I had three I wanted to get all the taste testers invovled. As you can see I had eager and willing participants! I know these are for toddlers and my son is just coming out of the toddler phase, and my middle child she is the one who loves fruits and vegetables, the other two (not so much) they had anything green LOL..no really they do. So out of all three of the products my kids really liked the Strawberry, pear, beet flavored one and the blueberry one. The carrot and kale didn't go over to well but they did try it. LOL I kinda knew the carrot wouldn't fly because my son does not like carrots. They also tried the carmel and apple bits, and they LOVED those. He tried the Berry Butter snacks and he liked them but not as much as the Carmel Apple Now my son took the other two snack packs to Kindergarden for snack time (he goes to lunch early) and gets "REALLY hungry" as he tells me in the afternoon.
