Free Museum Opportunity this Summer
I would be crazy not to post about FREE trips to museums this summer! Last year I had the opportunity to participate in the event here in NC. I took my children to the Cape Feat Museum here in Wilmington were pretty awesome. What a neat way to sneak in educational opportunities during the summer!
Last year, Blue Star Families started The Blue Star Museums programs. They released a list of museums across the country that offer free admission to active duty families and reserves from Memorial Day through Labor Day. All you need is a Military Dependent ID Card to gain entrance. The initiative is continuing this year and the list has been released! This year, more than 1,000 museums are participating. Check out the list here. It’s a great way for military families to have fun, yet it’s also budget-friendly. Look and see if there is one close to you!
